Get Heard and Get Better
My name is Christian Green and I'm a Licensed Massage Therapist, and a Certified Lymphatic Therapist. I specialize in the implementation of the Manual Therapies: Orthopedic Massage, and Dr. Kerry D'Ambrogio's Total Body Balancing. With this diverse training and over 10 years of clinical experience, I am able to help you restore pain-free biomechanical functioning of bodily tissues and joints following an injury, surgery, or heavy training. My holistic approach seeks to optimize your access to your abilities considering past trauma.
I enjoy working with anyone, but I find my practice attracting those with unique psycho-physiological demands, brought on by their work like, competitive athletes, professional performing artists, and first responders like firefighters and policemen.
I continue to hone an approach that has yielded consistent benefits for these populations. I call it a maximal method approach. The term "maximal method' is under a creative commons license that basically describes the integration of everything one knows to address all the interrelated factors of a problem. I approach each client's problems this way, for maximal outcomes.
The key to being successful with this approach, has been in forming a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients, and deducing what is -or is NOT- a manual therapy problem. Also, for all of my clients, I offer 30 complimentary minutes per visit; 60 minutes +30 free minutes. This is because, I have not found any comprehensive research that indicates that a 60 minute visit with a massage therapist, is all anyone needs for any musculoskeletal or neuromuscular issue they may have. So I only charge for 60 minutes, and there is a standing offer for 30 additional minutes if need be. Its more work for me, but its also more investment for you, and the results have been speaking for themselves; namely, clients attaining their goals with fewer visits.
